SOUTH EMBER are an upcoming band from the west of Ireland. Formed in 2009, they write their own material and play covers ranging in Genre from Rock to Reggae and Funk. They were the winners of the 2010 and 2011 Summer Search Band Competition and have played in venues such as Leisureland, The Royal Theatre Castlebar, Galway’s Eyre Square, Clifden Town Square, Tuam, Portumna and Lisdoonvarna. The band released and sold copies of their Debut EP “Done with Lust” in early 2010 and celebrated the release of their first studio EP (recorded at the Forge Studios Galway) in Early September 2011.
